Meet Leanna Zeyl (She/Her), MSW, RSW

“If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive.”

– Brene Brown

Hi there! So great to meet you.

I am dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive and respectful space, and believe firmly that healing happens on the foundation of a trusting, authentic relationship. With my 17 years of experience as a Social Worker, I am honoured to bring a wealth of knowledge and skill when connecting with folks.

I understand that life can feel super difficult at times and as such, I operate from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive perspective. I am dedicated to continuing my education and scope in the areas of trauma, PTSD, addictions, and mental health. I recognize that people from all backgrounds and walks of life have the right to mental and emotional well-being; I truly believe that people are resilient in nature and innately possess the capacity to heal. In my practice, I draw upon a number of modalities, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing, using a psychodynamic, attachment-based approach.

When I’m not at work, I love doing just about anything in nature. In particular, I can be found driving, hiking or canoeing to campsites around Ontario during the summer, or reading a good book under a pile of blankets during the colder months. I have a keen interest in music of all kinds and am never found too far from my dogs, Sophie and Howie.

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2002 and my Master of Social Work degree from Kings University College at Western University in 2015. I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service workers.

Meet Brian Darnell (He/Him) MSW, RSW

Hi there! I’m glad you’re here. If you’re feeling stressed, anxious or depressed, you are not alone. Life can be difficult, and I believe that we are not meant to “go it alone”. I support adult individuals as well as couples navigate ongoing struggles with relationships, stress and anxiety, as well as past traumas.

I believe that every person is unique, and no one approach works for everyone. My approach to practice is a client-centred collaboration and it’s an honour to work with those who come through my door. I support folks using therapeutic interventions like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Gottman’s Method (for couples!), depending on what feels like the best fit for you.

Genuine warmth and empathy fosters a solid foundation on the road to healing, and I would be honoured to hold space for you as you work toward your goals. Let’s connect.

Meet Shannel Butt (She/Her) MSW, RSW

As social beings, no one is capable of healing in isolation. Working with me is a collaboration – I hold space for you and your process for change and together we explore your intentions and goals through vulnerability, resilience, community, connection, and growth. At the foundation our therapeutic relationship is trust and respect. It is the greatest privilege to support and witness someone connect with their innate wisdom and strength, grounding in their true selves; I do not take your confidence in me as your therapist lightly.
Using compassion and curiosity, we can explore how past experiences have shaped your life today, how every part of you is rooted in positive intentions and has value, and empower you reconnect with yourself. Through this work, it is natural to uncover and connect with your inner wisdom which is key to the growth process.
As we foster your inner strengths, you will gain the confidence you need to create change in your life and bring our work outside our therapy room. My approach is empathic, intuitive, and eclectic. We will work together to discover new ways of navigating life’s struggles and discover your purpose, your joy, your right to be seen and valued for who you are.

Meet Hanna Hans (She/Her), MSW, RSW

“Hey there! I’m thrilled that you’ve found your way here. Life’s full of unexpected twists, and I’m here to provide the soft landing you might be looking for, especially when it comes to navigating the unique challenges that come with being a young person. I’m not just here to listen; I’m here to walk alongside you on whatever journey you’re navigating.

Navigating life’s twists and turns is more manageable with a caring companion by your side. I specialize in working with youth and view our sessions as a collaborative space where we can explore, reflect, and, most importantly, foster your growth. Your story is truly unique, and I feel honored to be a part of it.

In our time together, you can expect not only professional expertise but also a healthy dose of warmth and understanding, especially tailored to the experiences and concerns of young individuals. Whether you’re grappling with the challenges of adolescence, undergoing a life transition, or simply seeking a space to be authentically yourself, we’ll work together to create positive change.

My therapeutic toolkit includes training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, cultural competence, and trauma-informed care, with a specific focus on the needs of young people. But more than any technique, I’m here to connect with you on a personal level. Let’s embark on this journey toward well-being, one step at a time. I’m here for you.”

Meet Christine (She/Her), MSW, RSW

Hello!   If you are reading this, you may be considering counselling with the hopes of developing a greater sense of well-being, increased understanding about your experiences and the related patterns in your life, or you may be looking for support for someone that you care about. I welcome the opportunity to be a part of that journey. I believe that a compassionate, strength-based approachcreates an opportunity for growth and learning. My intention is to offer a space where each individual feels safe to reflect on challenges, develop new ways to cope with difficulties and to pursue self-acceptance by connecting with the wisdom and courage that is within themselves.  I have experience supporting individuals exploring concerns related to overwhelming feelings of stress, sadness, anger, worry, parenting challenges and relationship issues.  I have worked with adults, youth and children in the London community for over 25 years and earned my Master of Social Work degree in 2009 at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Meet Maggie (She/They) BSW, MSW (Candidate)
